Welcome to the Christ the Lord, Broadfield Church website!

Who we are

We are an evangelical Anglican congregation made of different people, from varied backgrounds, united in our love of Jesus. Inspired by the Word of God, we believe time and energy given to worship and to developing relationships between disciples is the starting point and training ground for authentic living in the wider community.

Working with others is key for us. We share our worship space with the Roman Catholic Church and our shared building is connected to the Broadfield Youth and Community Centre: home to two other Christian congregations and a host of other groups and activities.

What we do

During term time, our Sundays begin at 10.00 am with Kids club. It's vibrant, magazine style program is aimed at upper primary school age but is flexible enough to include 5 - 15 years olds, using Bible stories, games, videos, arts and crafts, cookery and lots of fun.

Our 11.00 am Sunday Service follows a simple pattern using the Anglican framework of praise, confession, scripture and intercession. Clergy from South Crawley Parish visit regularly and celebrate Holy Communion with us on the second Sunday of each month.

During term time, we run the Monday Munch Community Café (10.00 am - 12.30 pm) in the church foyer (access via the Centre courtyard). The Teddies toddler group runs in the Community Centre Social hall attached to the church (term time Thursdays 11.00 am - 1.00 pm).
